Wayne County Schools Career Center is located in the village of Smithville and serves the county and with career technical education for High School and Adult students. Their mission is to provide knowledge, skill development and experiences necessary for a lifetime of personal and professional growth.
With a strong emphasis on community and employer partnerships WCSCC is able to provide a unique experience for their students. These partnerships have a strong emphasis on the welding, machining, CNC, robotics & automation, and industrial maintenance trades. With so many local business partnerships we are able to give our students specialized training to make their transition into work-life is as simple as possible. In addition to a great career-focused education, students are able to participate in clubs and events as well as gain real world experience in externships and work opportunities while in school.
