Hocking College

Hocking College was established in 1968 in Nelsonville, Ohio located in the Appalachian region of Southeast Ohio. The College offers over 50 associate degree and certificate programs, providing innovative hands-on education opportunities to over 3000 students annually.

Hocking College spans three educational sites in Nelsonville, Logan, and New Lexington, Ohio. The College has a rich tradition of diverse programming in natural resources, arts and science, allied health and public safety, culinary and hospitality, and workforce development. Hocking provides opportunities to students, both traditional and non-traditional, to earn an associate degree and transfer to a four-year institution, or an industry-recognized credential for direct employment. The College is focused on providing the skills needed for a successful career in a variety of industries and prides itself in being a leader in economic development in Ohio.

Hocking College’s PACE Earn-and-Learn Program incorporates portable, nationally-recognized industry credentials in a hybrid study program. Whether a student completes instruction for pre-apprenticeship or apprenticeship, the program is designed to provide affordable relevant training of in-demand skills.
