The Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees complete the first two years of a bachelor’s degree, with guaranteed transfer and credit acceptance to Columbus State’s Preferred Pathway partners, as well as any Ohio public university, and many private universities. Certificates are short-term programs that concentrate in a specific discipline.

Columbus State has two campuses: the Columbus Campus, close to the vibrant and growing downtown area of Columbus, and the Delaware Campus in the thriving suburban setting of Delaware County. Five Regional Learning Center locations provide students with additional convenience to attend class close to where they live and work in the suburbs of Dublin, Grove City, Reynoldsburg, Westerville or at Bolton Field Airport on the west side of Columbus.

Columbus State is the largest provider of online educational programs in Central Ohio, giving students the option to take classes anywhere they can access the internet. More than 50 degree programs at Columbus State can be completed online.

In addition, Columbus State offers non-credit learning for the community including continuing education and licensure courses, and personal enrichment opportunities. The Office of Workforce Innovation partners closely with businesses to create customized, module-based training programs that can be delivered at Columbus State, online, or on-site at the partner company. Training can include both non-credit courses, and courses that grant credit toward a degree or certificate.
